Ride Commute
Ride Commute helps you with recurring rides, such as commuting to work or riding back home. You always start through one wizard, where you choose whether you want to set up an outbound ride, a return ride, or a workday.
What is Ride Commute?
Ride Commute is meant for recurring rides. In one flow, you set your departure place, weekdays, departure time, and email time. Tempelo can then automatically send you an email with weather, clothing advice, and a comparison of leaving a bit earlier, as planned, or a bit later.
What planning types are available?
In the wizard, you choose which type of commute you want to set up.
Outbound ride — one recurring ride to your destination.
Return ride — one recurring ride back.
Workday — a complete commute with outbound and return in one setup.

Can I use multiple weekdays?
Yes. Both single commutes and workdays can be active on multiple weekdays.
A single commute can be active on multiple weekdays at the same time, such as Mon/Tue/Thu.
A workday can also be active on multiple weekdays.
You choose the weekdays directly in the wizard for that commute.
That way, you keep one clear setup per recurring pattern.
When will I receive a Ride Commute email?
For a single commute, you choose when you want to receive the email. That is a specific moment in the window before your departure time. In the email, you will usually see these three moments:
1 hour earlier
Your planned departure time
1 hour later
For a workday
Here too, you choose a specific moment yourself. The combined email is sent within the 12 hours before your outbound ride and first shows the advice for the outbound ride and then for the return ride.
Why does Tempelo compare multiple times?
Sometimes a small shift in departure time makes a big difference. Think of less rain, less wind, or a more comfortable feels-like temperature. That is why Tempelo compares not only your planned time, but also a little earlier and a little later.
What is the advice based on?
The advice is based on the weather around your departure place, your chosen departure time, your personal clothing profile, and feedback you have previously given in Tempelo. Ride Commute therefore looks at the weather around your departure moment from your chosen place, not your full route.
What does email alerts on or off mean?
On means Tempelo is allowed to send emails for that commute. Off means the commute remains saved, but no emails are sent. That works the same for single commutes and for workdays.
When can I give feedback?
You can give feedback as soon as a specific Ride Commute alert has been prepared or sent. So you do not have to wait until your departure time has fully passed. Tempelo does not know exactly when you actually left, so feedback later in the day is also valuable.
What happens with my feedback?
Your feedback helps Tempelo better tune your personal clothing advice. Ride Commute uses the same central feedback and personalization logic as the other planners.
